We keep things simple and fair — for you and for operators. Here's how cancellations and refunds work on BounceRelay.
Refund tiers
Your refund is calculated from when you cancel relative to your scheduled event start time.
Cancelled 7 or more days before your event
Cancelled 3–6 days before your event
Cancelled under 3 days (72 hours) before your event
Operator cancellation
If an operator cancels your booking for any reason, you're entitled to a full refund — no questions asked. You'll receive an automatic refund to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
If this happens, we'll also help you find an available operator in your area.
How refunds are processed
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method (card or bank account)
- Processing typically takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement
- You'll receive a confirmation email once the refund is initiated
- If you booked through a third-party platform, their refund timeline may differ — check their policy for details
Rescheduling instead of cancelling
If your plans change, contact your operator directly before cancelling — many operators are happy to move your booking to a different date at no extra charge, as long as it's within their availability. Rescheduling isn't guaranteed, but it's always worth asking.
